Taitung aboriginal tribe prepares to celebrate

A group of youngsters from the aboriginal Amis tribe in eastern Taiwan's Taitung County launch an activity June 13 to inform local residents of a joint harvest ritual July 19-26 at the Taitung County Stadium. The ritual will feature folksongs, prayer services and dance performances that revolve around the tribe's distinctive traditions. (CNA)
